Stock is REVO's figure for the two versions. Stages 1 to 4 are tuners' figures at the engine, in PS as REVO publishes them. The photo shows a modified Mk2 Leon; its badge doesn't show whether it's a Cupra or an FR.

Stage 1: Software only
300–315 PSBoth versions reach the same figure with software, because they share the K04: REVO quotes 300–315 PS and 318–333 lb-ft for the 240 PS Cupra (REVO) and the 265 PS Cupra R (REVO). BAR-TEK's file adds 60 PS and 110 Nm to the 240 PS car (BAR-TEK), and about 35 hp and 70 Nm to the Cupra R (BAR-TEK).

Stage 2: Exhaust, intake, intercooler and fuel pump
315–370 PSREVO's Stage 2 needs a turbo-back exhaust with a sports or high-flow catalyst, an intake and an uprated intercooler, and makes 315–330 PS; with an uprated high-pressure fuel pump, Stage 2+ makes 330–370 PS (REVO). BAR-TEK's K04 guide reaches 320 hp at Stage 2 and 350 hp at Stage 3 on the stock turbo with its fuel pump and intercooler (BAR-TEK).

Stage 3: Bigger turbo
400–435 PSREVO's Stage 3 uses a 3071R external-wastegate turbo kit with RS4/R8 injectors, a 3-inch exhaust, an uprated fuel pump and the TT RS low-pressure pump, and makes 400–435 PS (REVO). In the stock position, TTE's TTE480 hybrid K04 lists the Leon Mk2 Cupra and is rated at up to 480 PS (AwesomeGTI); BAR-TEK sells Turbo-Total's Thor 655 bolt-on kit for the 1P (BAR-TEK).

Stage 4: Built engine
420–497 PSPast Stage 3 the engine needs forged internals. REVO's Stage 4 needs uprated rods, pistons and valve-train with stock compression, plus an uprated clutch, and makes 405–497 PS (REVO). BAR-TEK's Stage 4 bundle with forged pistons and steel rods reaches 420 hp and 520 Nm (BAR-TEK). From 500 Nm, BAR-TEK recommends a single-mass flywheel (BAR-TEK).
